[Sugardust] 67 Asuma Toki Service Hello bunnies. She's finally here. 'Finally' to me anyway, 'cause mannn has it been a ride getting this working well. I expected it anyway since I've wrote about scenes being more than 5 minutes long tend to not play nice with the hardware causing significant slowdown to real-time animation work. I've thought about breaking the scene data into two separate files, but eventually decided against it 'cause making 'global' changes like adjusting the scene shade/colour adjustment sliders or changing global lights are not going to transfer well to the other second scene data card. Any changes made to characters or map objects late into production mean I would have to make the exact same changes to the other scene data card and all that - it's just gonna get cumbersome and time-inefficient very fast. I'm a little bit disappointed that I was not able to create a proper outro for our Toki. I had the idea of her getting dressed up and back into her maid uniform. It probably would only occupy about 10 to 15 extra seconds but it'd complete the animation or at least make it feel complete. Unfortunately it's always 'Time' that I can't seem to find enough of and I guess that opens it up to your own interpretation on what happens after. I allocated a lot more time into getting the scene shading, placement of all lights, and getting ReShade tweaked and tuned to the vision I was having in how I wanted it all to look. I have a long way to go to getting everything looking more natural - though the 'dreamy' look is intended, along with having lights placed at impossible angles shining through character bodies. Anyway I hope it gets positive feedback (even if the feedback is to make me feel better about it all lol). See ya all next release, bunnies.
